Defining User Defined SQL for a Materialized View

The User Defined SQL tab is identical to the physical property editors that use it. Use the User Defined SQL tab to view and change a user-provided DDL statement. The following options are available for this tab:

User-Defined SQL

Select the User-Defined SQL check the box to change the SQL code in the SQL Statement box. When this check box is selected, erwin Data Modeler can not display code like a UNION statement and you will no longer keep track of the base tables and fields that the object links to.
